Wisconsin Towns and Places

Genesee Depot

Genesee Depot  is in Waukesha County.  The area was populated mostly by people from Great Britain. Many of the town’s structures from the 1800s are still standing. As a result it is quite a charming place to visit. The Milwaukee & Mississippi Railroad laid tracks through the area in 1851. The Union House restaurant has been operating since 1851. It is in the heart of the historic town.
