Oconomowoc
Oconomowoc is in Waukesha County. Its name is derived from the Potawatomi term for “waterfall.” The historic downtown has retained its 19th century charm. Many buildings and homes are listed on the Register of Historic Places. Its museum displays a “Streets off Old” gallery. The city sits on Lake La Belle. Multiple lakes reside just a bit off to the east.
